About Us
Grant a Dream
We recognize that caregiver burnout is a real thing. In an effort to reduce this burnout, every year we select parents that are caring for a chronic ill or special needs child that requires ongoing and constant care and grant them a 5-7day "Dream" trip to rest and recharge.
We call this Grant A Dream
We send these parents on a rejuvenating "Dream" getaway so they can experience a desperately needed time of refreshing.

Meet The Founder
Ann Townsend
Ann Townsend is the founder of Grant A Dream Foundation and the caregiver of her daughter Hannah for most of her life.
Hannah was born with a rare liver disease, and is a two time liver transplant recipient.
How Our Getaways Rejuvenate Parents
Often parents who have a chronically ill or special needs child find themselves drained physically, mentally and emotionally.
This often leads to caregiver burnout where the parent(s) experiences anxiety, stress and depression.
Grant A Dream grants Dreams to these parents so they can getaway to rejuvenate, focus on their relationship with each other and start fresh taking care of their child(ren).

At Grant A Dream we know first hand how incredibly challenging it is to be a 24 hour parent caretaker for a child with a chronic illness and/or special needs. It is immensely draining physically and emotionally and have seen it tear many couples apart as the stress can be unbearable.
We select couples who have not had any kind of break from the stress for years and give them a Dream come true getaway from it all. With your help we provide them a chance to rejuvenate, recharge, and rekindle their relationship so they can come back to their child who needs them with new found energy and love.
P.S. With your heart felt donation what we do is plan and execute their entire trip from airport transfers, flights, hotel accommodations, dinner reservations, excursions and attractions and more all 100% paid for and lined up for the grateful couple to have a completely relaxing and memorable getaway.

Every resort offered is 3 or 4 stars with a Tripadvisor rating of a 4 or a 5, but we're unable to guarantee a particular resort will be available, as they'll change regularly. If you're picky about the precise resort you'll stay in, you should probably should donate whatever you can to the cause and not worry about the bonus travel voucher and pay full price to get exactly what you want when you travel.

Yes, Absolutely! Just keep in mind that reservations can take up to 72 hours to show in the hotel’s system. And be sure to tell them it’s a 3rd-party reservation to ensure they’re looking for it in the right place.
As long as the adjacent dates are available, then yes! And in the event they're unavailable, you can usually still book them directly with the hotel. That is what the hotels are hoping for that you extend your stay.
GROUP travel is NOT allowed only 1 party among friends, family, acquaintances or known groups can use the complimentary vacation incentive for the same or overlapping travel dates.
No, we are sorry the flights are not included.
